Spider's net secured

I clearly dislike shooting backlit objects.
But in this case, it probably was the best solution.
Here is how a spider secures his/her net onto
a window pane. It looks like each strand consists
of about 14 sub-strands, spun together, and
each fastened onto the pane with a blob of something.
