Starnet not working in 1.2.0-beta1

I’ve pointed Siril to the install directory of Starnet++ CLI. Opened the result.fit created by the OSC_Preprocessing scipt. Did not apply any stretching as per the documentation. Selected Pre-Stretch Linear Image and Generate Star Mask. Clicked Execute and the console shows it completed in 402ms, which I knew it couldn’t have completed that fast. It only created a starnet_result.tif file that contains the stars and DSO. No _starless or _starmask files. Log file below.

In addition I discovered that if also select the Recompose Stars on Completion in addition to the above mentioned options, Siril shuts down.

Hi,

thx for the report.
Could you test the following?
Instead of starting Siril with the shortcut, start a command window (type cmd and hit Enter in Windows bar) and type:
“C:\Program Files\Siril\bin\siril.exe” >log.txt

And see if starnet works?

That worked. Problem only exists when using the shortcut. I tried creating a new shortcut as well just to test, and same issue.

I’ve complemented the release note with the workaround. Also wrote a small bat file that you can save to your Desktop and use as a shortcut until we fix.
