Stereoscopic 3D / 3D Conversion broken in G’MIC 4.0.5: “Unknown command or filename ‘1-15’”

Hi everyone,

The Stereoscopic 3D / 3D Conversion filter (fx_tk_make3D) fails in G’MIC-Qt 4.0.5. The error shows in the preview and also when I click Apply.

Setup

  • GIMP 3.2.6 (Flatpak, org.gimp.GIMP)
  • G’MIC-Qt 4.0.5 (Flatpak extension org.gimp.GIMP.Plugin.GMic, branch 3)
  • Linux Mint Debian Edition 7 (based on Debian 13), 64-bit
  • I updated the filter definitions before testing.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open any RGB photo in GIMP.
  2. Open G’MIC-Qt and select Stereoscopic 3D / 3D Conversion with its default settings (Scene Selector: Center Background, Output Format: Anaglyph Red/cyan, Input layers: Active).
  3. The preview shows the error below.

Error

*** Error in ./fx_tk_make3D_preview/*if/fx_tk_make3D/(...)/*local/*if/fx_radial_gradient/*substitute/ ***
Unknown command or filename '1-15'.

It looks like fx_tk_make3D passes arguments to fx_radial_gradient that are no longer valid in G’MIC 4.0.

Screenshot attached. Thanks for looking into it!

Bug confirmed.

Fix:

Filter updates have been pushed on the G’MIC server.
Could you please refresh your filters and tell me if that’s OK now?

Thanks!
