Strange result with log tone mapping (auto)

Version 1.6.1 Win 10 20H2

The photo has been loaded with amtc with no adjustments made in the Exposure tab. The 3 Screen shots show the result of using the log tone mapping before, after and auto. Perhaps this drastic color change can be explained.

Thanks for the sample. Indeed, this particular image was confusing the (dumb) auto-tuning logic. I’ve now added a couple of sanity checks that should help in producing more reasonable results. However, note that the logic is still as dumb as before, so it is guaranteed to fail eventually…
