Stretching and saving an image using the display modes

The Display Modes are very interesting to me where there is high dynamic range in the image. For instance the core of Orion. The Square Root mode shows lots of lovely detail which would other be lost through a regular stretch with the histogram tool. My question is can the Display mode be sent to the histogram tool so the the resulting image can be saved. May be there is another way to save out an image that has the display model stretch applied? It should go without saying, but saving out a screen image is not good enough.

Siril has three tools that modify the histogram: the asinh transformation, the histogram transformation and the CLAHE. It would be fairly easy to replicate the view settings of the asinh mode with the asinh transformation tool and the view of the auto-stretch with the histogram transformation. For other views, you’ll have to play with the three tools, sorry.
