Strolling in the evening sun

We’ve had some beautiful evening sunlight lately. Heres Nobody strolling in the evening sun. I tried and I think achieved a good result of tuning the colours to get a warm-golden evening sun look using colour calibration in channel mixer mode, primaries and colour EQ.

Looking foward to your takes and especially approaches to handling the colours and hope you are having a nice sunday  .

Your edited JPEG is 00507, but the RAWs are 00506

Oopsie. Edited with correct RAW.

No wonder Cristian made that look so spectacular, 0506 is the EASY one  .

I’m usually not a big fan of cat photos. But I have to admit, this one has it’s charm:

I rate this cat sixteen out of ten.

Anyway, I zoomed way in on the face and saw maze patterns, and VNG4 helped with that.
Here’s the direction I went. ‘Golden’ grade done with colourise module. DorS on tail for more texture. Edit: There was a kinda bright, kinda sharp background area at the end of the tail that I decided to ‘retouch’ a little, to make it less distracting.

My play, not messing with the colors, just taking what the image gave me.

RT and GIMP-G`MIC => Color Presets Hollywood Movies => Moonlight

I tried it with the easy one aswell. Maybe not the usual crop, but I like it.

This is another non-edit by me. I used one of the Fujifilm styles (Reala Ace) created by @jssfr. The only edit I did was basic sharpening, denoising, cropping and a black frame. I am just so impressed with these Fujifilm styles.

Hello,

Here is my version; I tried to highlight the “warm” light of late afternoon.

I applied a quick adjustment using my version of the cinematic DRT “base curve” and the “contrast & texture” module.
