Suddenly can't edit previous posts [fixed]

Would it be possible to base it on user class? While I don’t have any insights, I suspect very few of these spammers ever make it to member.

These settings in particular are probably what need adjusted.

These are the default settings, not the settings for this forum. Bumping the first setting up to trust_level_1 if not even trust_level_2 would probably help.

You should be able to edit again if you meet the threshold for trust level.

Thanks !!

So, already having the “Editor” Badge, I need to get to Trust Level 2:

Users at trust level 2 can…

Edit their own posts for up to 30 days after posting

[edit]Whoopee, looks like I’m there just now[/edit]

dang, the change threw me off. For my topic, I’ve been editing the top post with updates/feedback from later posts, so that new readers won’t have to hunt down the latest updates/changes in the long list. No more

How do I gain trust from the mods? Can I bribe with a beer or two?

Participation without incident will do it.

looks like I can edit my posts, but only recent posts. I saw the rule that posts older than 30 days cannot be edit? Any mod wants a beer?

I’ve made it a wiki post, hopefully you can edit it.
