Suggested feature: export face thumbnails

I would like to suggest as a new feature for Digikam the ability to export face thumbnails. One could select either some or all thumbnails for a certain person, or even select several persons, and the program would export just the face thumbnails for the images, not the whole images.

This would be a great feature in its own right, and especially in combination with the already included function for creating mosaics.

If you’re serious about this request, you should put it I’m the tracker; this is not the place for a proper feature request.

Thanks @paperdigits - you made me aware of the bug/wishlist site. I found an existing request from 2020 that I put a supporting comment on.
