Another beautiful picture that tempts me to have a play.
Apologies: my try is done in GIMP.
Increased exposure by ~ 1 EV, then I used luminosity masks. The first to increase green in the darkest parts of the trees, the second to increase red where the trees have their autumn colours, and the third to increase the saturation on the snow and the lower part of the sky.
