In 1966 Susan Harris was training to be a teacher at Sarum St Michael College in Salisbury. She was cycling along a pathway when she heard that a child had fallen into the river Nadder nearby. She went into the river to save him; the child was rescued but she was drowned. She is remembered in a memorial window in the Salisbury Cathedral.
How to best bring out the details of the engraving? I should have stood further back and used a wider aperture on a longer lens for narrower depth of field, but this is what I have to work with. Next time I’ll try another lens. In the meantime, over to you.
I kept the warm tones and just tried to sharpen the detail using local contrast module, local contrast fine preset in diffuse or sharpen module (V4.7).
