Temple Pond Carp in Autumn

Here’s a shot from a Lumix g9 ii, a camera that’s not yet supported in Darktable, so I used this temporary workaround to process it. Could’ve done with using a polarizer to help remove water reflection and foliage highlights.

A simple edit, first using Adobe’s DNG convertor because the camera is not supported by DT.

Now this one I like. Opened the JPG in GIMP, increased the canvas width to 200%, duplicated the layer, flipped one layer, and then moved the flipped layer to align the edges.

I had to have a go at it, challenging image to process !
I’ll give it another try in a few days when I will have finished assembling my new darktable machine, processing on the actual one have become a bit difficult …
