I have the problem that darktable version 4.0.1+1-ga59e0af56 doesn’t want to recognize my camera CANON EOS-1DX Mark II. As soon as I connect it to my Apple MacBook Pro 14 inch with the Apple M1 Pro chip with the TetherPRO cable, the message appears that initialization failed on port “usb:002,001 and possible cause is blocked by another application or no access has on device”.
Unfortunately, the CANON utility software 3.15.20 no longer works with Ventura, and the connection to the camera is regularly interrupted with Adobe Lightroom. Capture One only saves to the computer and not to the camera at the same time.
Is there a tool where it works on darktable?

I have never tried tethering on Mac, but this seems similar to what can happen on Linux. Is your camera automounted by the OS? If so, you’ll need to unmount it before darktable can see it.
