Although I had walked past the outside of the building before, it was only when I went to attend the World Press Photo exhibit on Thursday 11 June 2026 that I saw the inside of this magnificent piece of industrial history.
The Brisbane Powerhouse is a building that for me was at least as significant as the art on display. When I returned the following day with my daughter, my interest was in capturing the building.
