The new session in ART

Can somebody explain to me the concept of the session? I don’t understand what it’s trying to do and which problem it will solve.

For quite a few ART version, I’ve been able to call ART from the right click/open with in both didkam and xnviewmp. In digikam with the mimes and in xnviewmp in the external section of the config.

Hello, use a session to put photos in the same or in different directories into a kind of “collection”. Save that session and you can always reload it into the session tab. Handy when you want to work on a certain subset of files.
