Welcome to the forum :slight_smile: perhaps you may post a screenshot or RAW file with the related XMP sidecar to show the problem? Otherwise it might be quite hard to understand what you mean and help you. DT version (assuming you are using darktable) is always appreciated for further drilling down the issue.

What software are you using? As @Macchiato17 already said, sharing the image plus the processing ‘sidecar’ file (e.g. XMP for darktable, PP3 for RawTherapee, ARP for ART, and so on) would be great, and screenshots may be useful.
