When I use the Statistical Stretch python script, the preview image looks fine, but after the “Apply to Siril” , the image shown in Siril is way to bright, like it’s been over stretched. Is this a known issue?
Please. Share at least screenshots. We cannot help otherwise.
The preview image is much darker, but when it it applied the result as seen in the left side is too bright.
The Siril preview window is colour managed (see the chromaticity symbol bottom left), while the Statistical Stretch preview is not. The display mode is covered, but the image on the left most likely has a linear TRC assigned. I think that if you remove the assigned profile, then the two images will probably match.
I would like to. see the display view in Siril.
