There ist no SDB

Hi,

i need your Help plz.
My drive is sometimes mounted as SDB and sometimes as SDC (then there is noch SDB). SDA works fine. But when i´m using an sd card there is no SDB1. Only the SDB. What should i do?

I want to use the LBB for my photos. I want to copy 3 differend SD Cards (DSLR, Drone, …) to one Card that i can then use at my Tablet. unfortunately every SD Card has a different filesystem (NTFS, extFAT) and i need FAT32 for the backup SD Card to use it with the Tablet.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

What drive do you mean? The target backup storage or the source card you want to back up? In either case, the fact that the device shows up under different names indicates that you have some kind of non-standard setup.

Hi,

thank you for your response.
My setup is complete basic: Pi 3b with raspbian lite and then your LBB.
The first device (a 128GB stick) is mountet as SDA with the partition SDA1. When i insert the second device (a 128GB SD Card) its mounted as SDB but without the partition SDB1.

I don´t know why.

May i can send you a screenshot this evening.

an cheap (Anker) USB3 Reader. May i try another one?

It´s working. It was a Problem with the USB Stick.
