Saw the first in the series, holding up on the rest because I want to do it with a well-rested brain. But very informative as usual, 3B1B is the reason we need Internet (but Mathologer is fun too).
I’d love to have a neuroscientist weigh in on whether the “temperature” setting described here might be similar to the biological behaviors of a neurotransmitter agonist…
Since, at least for some neurotransmitters/receptors (such as the 5-HT2A serotonin receptor), both seem to increase the chances of the neural network (whether synthetic or biological) “hallucinating”
