Very late to the party - been away on a business trip… DT4.4.2
Out on the patio we’d sit,
And the humidity we’d breathe,
We’d watch the lightning crack over canefields
Laugh and think, this is Australia.

The question is how bright the sky was (and in turn the ground) during the lightning flashes?

Apologies for my lack of replies - I’ve been away for the weekend and didn’t have time to respond properly. But thanks very much everyone for all the different versions! Some particularly are much better than mine…
