Timeline 'global' markers

Hello everyone, i am new here and to natron.
I have a potentially stupid question.

Being in the process of making an music video i want to mark every kick played for example, to then use keyframes to animate different nodes.

So the question is: Is there a way to add ‘global’ markers on the timeline?

i hope i explained myself.

Thank you in advance,
Nikk.

Not exact the answer you are looking for, in the past I did it like this (for techno music):

Using this calculator
to figure out how many frames a bar would have, then write down the numbers onto a piece of paper and strictly animate to this key numbers.

The other option is to pitch the song to 120bpm, then produce the animation with
30fps, you would then know to use every 15, 30, 45, 60 and so on to keyframe. Finally speed up/down the pre-rendered animation to the desired bpm.

Third option see this tutorial by @cgvirus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHSMf4luLGY

Fourth option: using a vj software produce some visuals in realtime,
import them to Natron and do it strictly on the visual way.

Btw.
I am switching more and more to Blender for 2d animations, since in there you can work
in realtime even with music.

Maybe someone still knows if its possible to set global markers.

Edit:
In Nuke it does not seem to be possible to set markers, so I guess its also not (yet) possible in Natron…
