Once per year I create a photo album with my best pictures. I’m using the print shop crimson.se. If I want my picture to cover the whole page I have to add a bit of “seam allowance” (ie margin) to the pictures. To simulate in DarkTable what parts of the picture will not be printed, I created a watermark for left- and rightfacing pages. I used Incscape, but any program that can export line art to svg will do. When I’m satisfied with the crop, I remove the watermark
