Transfer DNG files from Pixel 6 Phone Pop! OS laptop?

Oh sorry. So you’d like to transfer directly from the phone to the laptop without messing with cables.

KDE Connect allows you to browse the phone’s file system, but it’s not an automated backup tool, so if you stop during your hike to use it, you could just as easily (and very reliably) use a cable. I’m not aware of any automated way, aside from cloud backup.

Maybe cloud backup is the best choice for me. However there are a lot of choices. I’ll have to think about this.

Many thanks.

You’re right, my bad. You were clear, I wasn’t thinking about that. The ftp plugin, etc. could be used on Linux but you’d have to configure a server locally.

@thusband Another, swift method:
if you have just a few images to transfer —
in the phone, send them via (g)mail to yourself.
Then just pick them up on the computer.

Have fun!
