Thank you for these beautiful images. I doubt the originals can be improved upon as either colour or B/W. But here is my play with the first of the photographs. Almost desaturated - just a hint of colour.

Another variation! There are many subtle possibilities for an image like this.
In GIMP. A blue colour cast whilst not completely eliminating colour and high-key.

Looks great! Even recovered the brownish leaves that still hang there.

Yep. And now that you mention, I think there’s also a dust spot there on the right… have to check my camera/lens

The extra contrast suits it well, makes the tilled earth much nicer, specially as it fades into nothingness in the distance.

Nice, not far from reality except it was a little more blue.

I like how since the image is so flat, people are coming up with all kinds of interesting grades, really nice.

I must stop - this first image is triggering too many ideas and I haven’t even considered the other photos yet!
