I feel like this could be interesting to see some different approaches. I find taming the green while keeping it, well, green an interesting challenge.
I like my result, but I’m sure there’s other approaches.
Oh, and yep, the composition is a bit weird…

I like your top edit.
I must admit to cheating. The main thing I did to the colors was use a Color Equalizer preset for Kodachrome 64 emulation. dt 4.8.0

i agree, pictures taken on a sunny day under trees, can make even skin looking green… and then taming the greens can result in reddish skin
btw: is RT also ok? if so, here is my interpretation:

I have gone for a really soft look courtesy of the bloom preset in the diffuse or sharpen module.

Outstanding photo and edit, congratulations! Often times, photos with a lot of foliage tend to feel cluttered because of the sheer amount of detail. Recently I see a trend of softening the details in post to avoid overwhelming the viewer, which also yields beautiful results, but in a very different style. You found a perfect balance IMO.

I may have failed to keep the green actually green … but I enjoyed playing - thanks!

That ain’t no cheating! Thanks for introducing me to the presets in color EQ - hadn’t noticed them… yet I had dabbled with similar colour shifts in my edit.
@Popanz Wow! That’s impressive…
Yes, that’s the thing. I think with selective colour adjustments it’s all possible though…
marter:
is RT also ok?
Oh, absolutely. I just tagged it dt as that’s what I use, didn’t mean to restrict it.
Nice… I like a bit of soft. I used that bloom preset in mine, but masked to highlights.
Thanks very much Lucas, and welcome to the forum!
Nope, that’s green my definition is broad.

Wow… I like that. Very mysterious.

That would actually create a more natural look. I went very heavy on the softness in my image. I just didn’t want sharp for the shot.
