Trouble getting red leaves match color

Hello,

Here’s a second version with more luminosity and I’ve also given the scene a warmer atmosphere with the “colorize” module.

And here’s a version where I’ve corrected the lens and perspective.

My attempt to play with RT and GIMP

NIce result with the perspective update Popanz; tried as well and failed miserably (so passed). lol

Thought I would try a fake HDR result, but now it really looks fake. lol

Had fun, though.

The texture makes it look like a carpet :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

My interpretation. I decided to go with the orangey look.

Tried a de-fished version, a bit less over-saturated than my first try. A black hole at the bottom was filled using GIMP’s Heal Selection several times

I am travelling, so I bookmarked this image to look at when I got time. I used sigmoid which I find tends to give more pleasing colors straight out of the box. I am not knocking filmic and there are some images I prefer filmic for, but sigmoid seemed okay for this. Now if there was a need to do “color grading” I would probably look at the color zones or color equalizer to tweak the red colors to taste.
