Trying to get this effect replicated.
Have tried to add grain and used gmic to add pattern dither but I cannot get it to look like this image I posted below.
Anyone have ideas how I can achieve this look in gimp ?

If you note, it appears that there are noises containing unique colors. You could make something like that with random black and white and gradient map, and blur together.
Looks like Bayer filter noise to me; check out bayer filter under patterns in G’MIC.

Any idea where we get “grain files” for GMIC’s grain tool. There are no resources included or on their site.
