I dig it. I wish I didn’t leave my 40-150mm in the car…
Well I quite like, that there are not ONLY the turtles on this pic, but as well their habitat. So here is my edit:

GIMP.
A tight crop then local adjustments to contrast and brightness to emphasise the reflections and detail in the water.
If I had to go for a tighter crop, I would go for something like this. Anyway, I prefer my first edit.

Here’s my go with RT v5.10-rc1
branch. 2 small local adjustment areas to blur out some floaties.
Harder alternative via Droste.
edit: had to fix an issue (like I said; harder to do drostes than the previous version since the previous version only needs the bitmap; droste needs a heck of a lot of alignment and some cloning/healing work is necessary. lol
I LIKE it. Can you share how you achieved this, please?
Never really made a tutorial. Used Mathmap to create a preset that renders these (first result that is) that only requires a seamless texture.
As for the Droste version, it requires a lot of interaction so no tut there. lol
Guess I should share why I did this. Been using the AI Bots way too much of late so doing something that I know the bots will never be able to replicate any time soon (trust me; tried several times to get the best bots to do so but they failed miserably). Figure, at least I can do something the bots cannot and I call that a win. lol
