I like how the two uncles appear to be seated at the edges of the bench to make room for the chess board their focus. Mom has always told me that it is the wrong way to sit.
@Dito_Budi’s second image has my favourite crop with just the right verticality. Even the left-side crop to remove the subject in the background has an unintended effect of giving pressure to the uncle on the left to hurry up and decide on his next move.
@Terry’s crop is nice too, though not quite perfect (e.g. tree barrier on the right). The processing itself is good.
