Up to date version and AI and Lua?

I know I might be greey, but is there a way to get an Up to Date version of DT and have AI and Scripts available?

The documentation says that Appimages have AI but no Scripting whereas Flatpaks enable scripting but come without AI.

I don’t feel confident enought to compile from source so is there another way than using the outdated version by my distributions maintainer?

@Donatzsky I remember that you have made a script for simpler management of DT test build installs, so I wonder – can it simplify the process of stable release compilation from source as well, by any chance?

That is outdated information, where did you find it? I need to fix that :slight_smile:

Just go for the Appimage. It has both lua and AI features.

@mino Thank you, after your hint I was able to enable install the scripts in the ~/.config/darktable/lua path and they seem to work now with the AppImage.
