I for one was definitely attracted to play with these images!
In GIMP. I tried to stay with the theme of high contrast, while attempting to bring out detail in the darkest parts. Increases of local contrast in most “zones” of all three.
Another approach. High contrast images are often great for b&w conversion. Just b&w transform plus some minor adjustments (sharpening, local contrast, exposure).

I like this; a bit darker than my version, a bit more stern, rocks are the right color too
…and this too! sharper (I need to dig into your xmp to see what you did) and you nailed the trees in terms of color, thanks! Did you use dt 3.8?
(I’ve also enjoyed the b/w versions)
Yes, 3.8.1.
Thank you, really nice shots!
My version of the forest, with a bit narrower crop.

DT 3.8.1
I like the crop: it’s bold!
I didn’t see an xmp for 20211113_CRP3608.dng, so I downloaded the jpg, but I didn’t get it from it. Could I trouble you to post the xmp?
I tried to upload the xmp. After the upload I deleted raw file and xmp from my temporary folder which I use for play raws. Then I saw that the upload was stuck and the sidecar file not fully uploaded (happens to me sometimes in this forum). I also tried to reconstruct it from the JPEG but the history export to the JPEG also failed.
So, long story short, the xmp is gone forever …
