Using RT on the command line

  1. In the terminal, I will build up my profile as layers of settings, beginning with a reset.pp3 where all settings are included so that I am sure I always start with my basic settings. After that a camera+lens profile follows where I just include the necessary parts (“save profile” with ctrl pressed).
What I’m missing is the input profile, I can’t find it in the big list of checkboxes …

  2. I have put /Applications/RawTherapee.app/Contents/MacOS/ to my $PATH, but when I start rawtherapee-cli in any dir, I get these errors:

Error: the user’s processing profile path doesn’t point to a directory or doesn’t exist!

Could not open camera constants file “./…/Resources/camconst.json”: No such file or directory

The default profile for raw photos could not be found or is not set.
Please check your profiles’ directory, it may be missing or damaged.
“${G}/Auto-Matched Curve - ISO Low” will be used instead.

The bundled profile “${G}/Auto-Matched Curve - ISO Low” could not be found!
    Your installation could be damaged.
Default internal values will be used instead.

    RawTherapee, version 5.6, command line.
    Terminating without anything to do.

What do I need to do that this won’t happen?

Added the macos tag to attract the right people.

Check Color management settings in the section Color Related Settings.

Thanks, I could find it: “ICM-Einstellungen” (German)

But there is a bug: Sometimes RT saves it, sometimes it doesn’t.
