In the little drop-down for the button it says “linear, log-linear or log-log”. I know what that means, duh, but when I toggle the button, the histogram x-axis never gets linear i.e. never has equal graduations.
Can anyone clarify this histogram scaling?
The vertical lines correspond roughly to 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, etc. so they are not equally spaced except in log-log mode when the histogram is “completely logarithmic” (you can click-and-drag left or right to interpolate between log and linear).
