If you look at the tree branches oof above the head of the photographer. There are a lot of “sploshes”.

If you use 4.4.2 stable propably without openCL, it could be this.

Without OpenCL, filmic's hl-reconstruction seems to produc… e artifacts.
### Steps to reproduce
Find a RAW with (some seriously) blown out highlights.
Enable HL reconstruct in filmic, play with some values.
Moste visible when lower the treshold a bit, raise iterations of hq-rec., and lower the bloom<->reconstruct slider.

This is what it looks like with a more recent master version, where this problem has been fixed.

Nothing to do with focus, because there is also some on the lens hood and on the man’s pants. Looks like the accidental Sabattier effect that you get when you color curves are not monotonously increasing.

Yes, you are correct. I use opensuse Leap 15.5 with dt 4.4.2 WITHOUT opencl.
Opencl loads but not under DT because it cannot reserve enough memory.
