Warning: Linux can not be install on MacBook Pro 2018 because of T2 chip.

Many people use MacBook with linux here (I think). Be aware that the new MacBook is not linux friendly.

Update: Apple release “Startup Security Utility” which let you tweak security policy settings, so you can now boot linux on it.

This originally bummed me out because I’m in the market for a new laptop, and I still stand by my old Macbook Air as one of the best laptops I’ve ever used. Glad to see folks are hacking at it to get support (If I upgrade to a new one, it’ll have macOS for about 30 minutes out of the box most likely…).
