Watermark folder missing

I am trying to add a svg file to darktable 4.6 but I have no watermark folder. How do I create one?
I’m using the latest Linux Mint . Here is what is in my dt folder: darktablelerc, data.db, data.db-pre-4.6.0, library.db, library.db-pre-4.6.0, shortcutsrc, shortcutsrc.backup, shortcutsrc.defaults, shortcutsrc.edit, and user.css

Just create the folder in your file manager, or terminal, if you like cli stuff.

As the manual says, it should look like this: $HOME/.config/darktable/watermarks

I created a watermarks folder and add my svg file. My image doesn’t show up. I’ve closed and restarted darktable and restarted my computer.

How did you install DT? E.g. the folder would be different for flatpak.

Would you show us screenshots of your folder with path…

grafik

and your module…

grafik

just to make sure that no error has sneaked in?

I was using dt flatpack. I installed the package file, and my image is there.
Many thanks!

The folder for the flatpak version might be something like this (at least in my tumbleweed):

$HOME/.var/app/org.darktable.Darktable/config/darktable/

However, I don’t know whether this is the same across different distros.

It should be!
