Not exactly what Iā€™m listening to but what I saw at the Barbican Library free exhibition on the history of Black Music in London, from jazz to calypso, reggae to dubstep, pop to grime.

Iā€™ve been stuck in the early 70s and lamenting the recent deaths of Sly Stone and Brian Wilson.

Sly and the Family Stoneā€™s ā€œThereā€™s a Riot Goinā€™ Onā€, The Beach Boys ā€œSurfā€™s Upā€ and ā€œHollandā€, and just because it fits the current climate here in the US, Marvin Gayeā€™s ā€œWhatā€™s Going Onā€. But also listening to The Who and other rock bands from the time.

Well, thatā€™s only one part of what i listen to. Iā€™m a (rock/metal) music CD addict, where they come from doesnā€™t really matter as long as I enjoy the music.
The song iā€™ve listened to the most in my life would surely be Wasted Time by Skid Row. Still listen to it regularly more than 30 years later.

Mmm no, donā€™t know this band or song. Sounds like what Faith No More did sometimes in the 90s. I love FNM.

Also reminds me of Dir En Grey, another (crazy) japanese band. Just check the song obscure for example.

Itā€™s from a soundtrack for a relatively new game called Sonic Frontiers (Sonic the hedgehog). I donā€™t actually know almost anything about the game ā€“ I came across this song in a completely different YouTube playthrough series.

In that case, lucky for me that I listened to an audio only release :laughing:

Undefeatable is a rare occurrence of rock/metal in my playlist though and while I often like some rock songs, I donā€™t listen to them, rather stuff like these (What are you listening to? - #10 by Pizzacutter)

Oh i played Sonic 1 & 2 on Genesis back in the early 90s. Never thought Iā€™d hear this kind of music in a Sonic game though haha.
I also listen to some game ost pretty often, like Silent Hill ( Akira Yamaoka) and Shin Megami Tensei, Persona ( Shoji Meguroā€™s tracks).
