I do not need colour gamut coverage, although it would be great for personal use, if I ever get into photography again—been all too busy lately. Right now, it is just a monitor with sufficient sharpness and real estate so I do not go blind or tire staring at text, numbers, dashboards and being in meetings all day. I also find OS, software or hardware updates and setup sometimes interfering with the display of content. Sometimes I have to adjust the OS hinting to ensure I do not get a migraine.
Then I’d recommend a 99% sRGB monitor. That’s not a high bar, and shouldn’t incur much cost, but you’ll be ready for photography should you feel the urge again. Personally, I’m a big fan of “retina” displays, which look more comfortable to my eyes than lower resolution screens. 27" 4k is my personal sweet spot.

Depending on your budget, the ASUS Proart is quite good. I got this one:
At Vistek it’s effectively their recommended ‘low-end’ photography monitor. The 24" model is a couple hundred dollars cheaper I think.

I wondered how Americans would feel about an administration that had jacked up their car prices but then the partisanship is quite high. I read that 80% of voters there identify with a particular political party in polling, compared with 15-20% in the U.K.

Addendum: I had no idea the X100VI was made in China… I bet Fuji is frustrated with that decision now The X100V, at least the one I have, was made in Japan.
That’s even better for them! More rarety, more demand, more clicks. And they can probably flip the X100VI for a profit when the novelty wears off.

Don’t stop sighing because it ain’t over yet:
Basically, he’s making it up as he goes along, so who knows what it will look like next week… or by dinnertime.
In the mean time I doubt he actually wants to have tariffs and it is more a way to bully other countries into aligning with the USA. Like the EU can have better tariffs if we lower our standards for meat so the USA can export it to us. oh and we should by 350bn worth of fossil fuel from the USA.
