now that I actually tested and use an ipad myself I honestly think that Android phones are much better for 99% of the people… I mean how many people actually need to see colors outside of srgb? most people are not even able to see the difference.
So if someone tells me that iphones are just so much better than android phones I think they have no idea what they are talking about, they are just talking b******* and are brainwashed by apple marketing.
My ipad is so buggy sometimes I am so annoyed that I think I want to destroy it. But it has a good and well calibrated screen, that’s the only good thing about it. Maybe, if prices really go up, I will just sell it.
I’ve had the same experience after being “forced” to use MacOS at work, as we needed to deploy an iOS app. It’s honestly horrible and it feels like it’s made for children. When official documentation asks you to “drag” and drop stuff around you know it’s gotten bad.
I have experience with Win since XP, KDE, Gnome, some Xfce, and none were that bad from a UX standpoint. I can’t believe this is what is hailed as the peak of UX in the digital world.
I think that most people can see the difference if you show them two images side by side. That said, for a while I have been restricting my gamut to sRGB in sigmoid, and I don’t see it as a limitation. Chroma is also perceptual, if you don’t overdo it in the rest of the photo then you have enough punch in sRGB to emphasize the subject.
Same here, except when there is no ebook. But for children’s books, I still prefer paper. The less time spent with devices the better.
My problem with e-bay is that shipping is sometimes equal to or twice the price of a book (think 4–6 eur books), so it may be better to combine orders from a single store just because of that. I am currently looking at source is https://www.worldofbooks.com/, they are UK-based. My understanding is that books have 0 tariff from the UK to the EU and used goods carry no VAT, so it is just shipping. But I hate dealing with these bureaucratic things…
