I have done a royal stuff up with my DT installation. I tried the latest Windows weekly build of 5.1 +335. I had problems and tried to role back DT to a previous weekly build. I played around with swapping the DB and darktablerc files and just created a mess for myself. I lost both the styles and the presets I have made over the years. The styles I have been able to recover by reimporting them in using the styles module in lighttable view. But what I can’t work out is where the presets for all the modules are stored and how to import them back in. Can anyone offer this dunderhead some help please.?
Both the styles and presets live in data.db (name may be wrong; I’m not at my desk at the moment, it’s the DB file which is not library.db).
Istvan thanks so much. This has worked. I deleted the current DB and renamed one of the latest snapshot of the database and restarted Dt and all my presets and styles are back.
