Which Demosaicing Method for DSLRs without Anti-Aliasing-Filter?

Hello.
While configuring my copy of RT I found different demosaicing methods to set. AMaZE, RCD, DCB…
So I went to RawPedia for explanations. But now I know the same as before :see_no_evil:
Since I’m working with a D7200, I know that this camera has NO AA-Filter. Reffering to RawPedia: “DCB produces similar results to AMaZE.
AMaZE can often be slightly superior in
recovering details, while DCB can be better at
avoiding false colors especially in images from
cameras without anti-aliasing filters.”
So is it better to set only “DCB” or “DCB+VNG4” for my camera? Or still AMaZE? Or rather something completely different?
Thanks for advice.
Regards

Using RT 5.7 dev, the Bayer demosaic I mostly use is RCD+VNG4 because it works best with Capture Sharpening

Okay. Thank you. But unfortunately I run RT 5.7 without “dev”. So should I “upgrade” to dev build or wait for 5.8 to benefit from capture sharpening? Are there some disadvantages with dev builds?
Fortunately I just started with RT in December 2019 - so there are only around 50 photos to fresh up with capture sharpening.
Btw, do you have a D7200 too?
Regards

5.8 will come soon. Maybe worth to wait some days

No, I have a D700, but I tested with a lot of cameras (with and without AA filter)

Ahh, okay. So thanks for tips and hints :+1::v:
