After every new import, I always have to manually set the filters to “camera” and choose my camera, because it always resets to “film roll” which is a single folder and that’s completely useless to me.
Is there a way to stop Darktable from resetting my collections filter after import?
In the module preferences you can select to sort by film roll or folder.

In collections, I only found these settings; that last one, sort film rolls by, only has the option to sort by folder name or import time.
@eobet : for me, if I set collections to use folder as the topmost filter, it stays that way, and is not reset to film roll (Windows, darktable 5.2).
