Will Naton merge 2 live video threads into 1?

I have a camper shell on my pickup, which makes it difficult to backup sometime. Backup cameras usually have a fisheye lens and make it difficult to see some things. I would like to put 2 cameras on the back of my camera - 1 on the far left side and one on the far right side - both cameras having a 50mm lens (approximately the same as the human eye). I want an app that will combine the feed from each camera (in real time) so that I can display it on a 14" lcd monitor in the cab of my truck. Will natron do this?

Natron is a VFX compositing tool that is meant to be used off-line, so I’m afraid it can’t be used for real-time applications. To even use Natron how it’s intended, you’d require significant enough processing power, which you get with devices you shouldn’t install inside a vehicle, like a desktop computer/workstation. A more practical solution to your problem would be to purchase a dedicated system that includes 2 cameras and a screen, rather than building one yourself. I’m sure they exist, although I can’t guarantee they would be reasonably priced. This however is not the right place to ask about those things. A google search about something like “dual reverse cameras” should bring up something though.
