Write node settings for fast export.

I’m working on switching to Natron from After Effects and having trouble with exporting. I’d like to make a final draft render, but the settings I’ve tried take almost an hour for what AE does in less than a minute with similar projects. Is there something I’m doing wrong, or a format I can use for a quick export?

With some help from Rodlie, found .mov format works best, but I’ve run into a new issue of the render hanging after a few percentages. Same thing happens trying to export an image sequence.

Hi,

Sadly a hang is difficult to debug. You have enough RAM? Are you using any special nodes in your setup?

Yes, I have 32gb of RAM on an 8-core CPU, and the only special node is FrameBlend for a 3-second segment.
I learned earlier to use .tif files instead of .png, and it seemed to get things going, but still painfully slow to write.
