Zeche Zollverein

UNESCO World Heritage Site “Zeche Zollverein”
High Iso, High Contrast but with the new tonemapper AGX I could get a nice result. I wonder what else you can get out of it.

I got the feeling that the two devices in the centre were the point of interest, hence my crop.

Wunderbahr!

I did not use AgX here but instead two instances of ‘tone equalizer’ to lower the window light and up the shadows a bit.

Bit of blooming on the windows and some blue splittoning for fun.

Hope you like it - regards, Jetze

My version using GIMP.
Accentuated the colour of the rusty iron and the blue girders, slight dimming of the windows.

Primarily Lucis and G’MIC’s Dehaze to darken the windows (and a lot of blur to hide the artifacting due to Dehaze step; lol).

Extra red pop from ART with AgX (Kodak film/paper):

For something a little different I used the artistic preset in Diffuse or Sharpen module for line drawing simulation. I have then used a blend mask in that module set to harmonic mean. DT 5.3 AgX module

EDIT: Top image was exported with HQ sampling on and bottom image with HQ sampling disabled. Hmmm

I would say, the HQ Picture looks a lot better.

Really like the lighting and the overall “texture” of the scene.
