Most of what Kofa described was shaping the curve to influence the image. If this is not common terminology, ie toes and shoulders etc it might be good to understand tone curves and how you can adjust them to influence the image. This sort of editing is not exclusive to AgX but rather a component of it.
Thanks for reminding me about Signature Edits. When there are no new Play Raws posted here, I can just go there and select any of hundreds (maybe thousands) of images to play with.
