Autogroup SOOC jpeg + raw and rate them together

I don’t rate my photos but it seems like you can rate either the raw or jpg if you use the lua script…basically the rating of the group leader sounds like it is applied to both…

Transfer rating from jpg files to raw

Hi. I am shooting in jpg&raw and would like to know how to pass the rating (stars) and gladly any other tags made to jpg-files to the raw-files of the same name. Background is I rate the jpg-files first since they are full resolution. Sony didn’t do that for the embedded JPGs until the A1, which is why this route is necessary. I hope someone has a tip or script on how to solve this.

@darix if I understand correctly, what you would like is for changes applied to either the raw or the jpeg, such as rating or tags, to be automatically applied to the other image grouped with it.

This is the default, isn’t it? JPEGs and RAWs are grouped together (they are joined with a yellow box). If you select the grouped view, any tagging or rating is applied to both.
