Banded demoiselle

Last week I photographed some dragonflies. Since today was another cloudless day and in the early afternoon the harsh light does not offer many opportunities for photography, I decided to try it again with the dragonflies. This time I didn’t photograph from a small bridge, but actually went into the stream. Of course, I would have liked to catch them in flight, but I am not satisfied with the few times I managed to do so.
But a sitting specimen has pleased me. Especially the resolution and the colors of body and legs. The background, however, is a bit choppy.

The sharpness and color of the dragonfly are really nice!

I agree about the background, you could either blur it more, shift the brownish patches towards green, and even desaturate it some.
