Canyon + Clouds + Biker - Roadsign = ???

Took this shot earlier today while out and about … ample tone to work with.

For my part, I worked on the sky/cloud contrast, removed a roadsign, highlighted the distant biker, plus a few other contrast tweaks. etc.

Here’s RAW file:

My edits (as seen) above made through ART 1.16.2:

Eager to see other possibilities. Enjoy

Great picture! Thank you for sharing it. I like your edit. When I saw the raw though, I thought I preferred it in colour. Hope I haven’t ruined it… :slightly_smiling_face:
Useing darktable 4.1. Incidently I was a little surprised to find that darktable doesn’t seem to have a denoise profile for this camera. The first time I’ve come across this happening :anguished:. But a little manual tweaking worked well.
I think the weak point in my edit is that I haven’t highlighted the cyclist…

Thanks for sharing.
I too decided to play with the colour image.
I reduced the impact of the tyre marks on the road and the road sign because I thought they distracted the eye. I have tried to get more clarity of the distant hills and a slight increase in the saturation of the sky. Other minor adjustments to contrast in certain areas. All done in GIMP.

Sorry, but I managed to flag a post unintentionally while on my to slow phone. Is there any way I can fix this?
Again, sorry about that
