[Capture Challenge] All the way out there

Have tons of aged photos which I’m too shy to post in “Charge your battery and take some photos”, for not being fresh enough. Luckily, there also happens to be many of birds (sounds about right for a Nikon user) taken at a long focal length. So here’s another one at 105mm (157mm equiv), enjoy :slight_smile:

I still mostly post to the charge your battery thread. When I last captured a large number of exposures, including long focal length, I did the same. Here’s a previously-unshared image from that day in January.

It’s a messy mountain scene taken at 260mm equivalent. Not sure how much I like it, but there’s something about it…

Yes, there is something about the gully between the rock walls that seems to draw my eye, with the line of green tree tops along the wider part of it on the right of the photo guiding my eye in to the centre. Nice!
