I want to live on this street. Well, maybe not on the street, but you know what I mean

I want to live with the waitress, after removing the obnoxious Santa. If possible …

I’m pretty spoiled. I look out the window and see most of the sky and a bit of water (damn house blocks the rest of the view). So when I see something I want to take a shot of I can wander across the street and into the yards of one of the three houses along the water that are either vacant or vacation homes, or to the public dock another 30 meters away.

Leave a few days and magic happens. Just charging our batteries and taking some photos. :face_with_monocle: Who needs AI when we have a community of amazing photo makers!

For the Santa, you’ll just have to wait until the end of the month. For the waitress, I don’t know

Maybe you want to consider living with this lady? She already has a wedding dress on …

Just getting around to editing some images that never made it from my laptop to my network drive and, so, were forgotten. There was a very light fog that morning and it gave a nice glow to the areas in the sun.

Scenes like that are, imo, well suited to a romanticist/pictorial treatment…which seems to be striking my fancy of late. So win, win.

I am looking forward to printing this in the new year (my photography budget ran out long ago and I have not printed in months) as I like the way the details look full size.

A couple of fall color images from my (more or less) local area.

It was a really nice and somewhat atypically mild day today. Once the overcast cleared it was 73F / 23C and sunny, with nice autumn light (thin smoke in the area helped that). But Sunday night it’s supposed to drop to 23F / -5C. And then by Thursday be back up to 74F. No wonder folks are sick…

Actually that’s a single frame crop, but it is X-Pan format, I think.

Thanks!

One more from the evening walk. It feels nice to edit something other than test images/charts.
